The Client: In the fall of 2006, a complex group of state, local, and national decision makers came together to draft a comprehensive plan for the redevelopment of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. At the time, no central repository existed for documents related to planning and recovery.
The Project: As a pro bono project, BlinkTag created a website to facilitate local conversations about city planning. The site is powered by WordPress and MediaWiki to manage content, facilitate comments & user-submitted content. Nolaplans.com remains the premier site for researchers interested in primary-source materials related to planning in New Orleans. Brendan and Jed were also involved in writing an article that was published in the Journal of the American Planning Association in Summer, 2008.
The Site: nolaplans.com.
